What is the Blue Knob Ski Racing Club?
The Blue Knob Ski Racing Club (BKSRC), unofficially known as the Blue Knob Race Team, is an alpine ski-racing club. The club’s objectives are to develop accomplished skiers and foster good sportsmanship through competition. The training program focuses on preparation for ski racing. Membership is open to skiers ages 7 and up, subject to skiing ability.
Who should join BKRC?
BKSRC is for everyone. Younger racers must be able to put on their own equipment, ride the lift without assistance, and ski most of the terrain at Blue Knob in a wide parallel stance. Our programs are suitable for skiers seeking to improve their skiing to top-level athletes. Racers interested in the club are welcome to join a free training session, with the coach’s permission, to get an idea of what the club and racing are like. Please feel free to Contact Us to make arrangements or just catch up with us at Blue Knob.
